A SERVICE OF COMMITMENT for
parents and children preparing for their First Reconciliation Sacrament, will
be held at all Masses this weekend. Please bring documents!
CAFOD LENT FAST Collection will be taken at the offertory at all Masses this weekend. Envelopes are still available on the benches for those who couldn’t get to Mass last Sunday. Please fill in the Gift Aid slip if you are a taxpayer.

LENT LUNCHES this year are on Sunday, from 12.30 to 1.30pm. As it is our turn this year to host these lunches of bread & cheese, please sign the list in the porch to help. The proceeds will be “Buckets of pennies for buckets of water” for Third World Children.

Churches in Hunters Bar are using on the Wednesdays of Lent. This week the venue is St Augustine’s,

“WOMEN’S WORLD DAY OF
PRAYER this year is on Friday this week at 2pm ( please
note change of usual time!). The local Service will be at
All Saints Church, Ecclesall. The theme this year is “
Let everything that has breath praise God”, by the women of the
Cameroon. All welcome.

FAMILY CELEBRATION of the Sacrament of
Reconciliation for First Confessions is at
3pm next Saturday from. All
children, young people & parents are welcome.
FAIRTRADE FORTNIGHT this
year ends next Sunday, when the monthly Fairtrade Stall will be open in the
Centre between Masses. Please do
support.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS with
Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will be recited next Sunday, the First of
the Month, at 4pm. Please do try to
share in these Lenten Devotions.
A PARENTING
SKILLS COURSE for those with
children aged 5-15years begins on Tuesday 9th March from 7pm at
Mother of God Parish Room, for 8 weekly sessions. The cost is £10. Booking
forms are available in the porch.
